Annie Blake
Annie discovered Pilates through rehab after a fall during track work riding and immediately fell in love with the practice, eventually transitioning to group fitness Pilates. She became certified in 2018, after welcoming her first four children, and has been teaching ever since.
Annie loves getting to know her clients on a personal level so she can tailor each workout with thoughtful progressions and friendly layers that accommodate every participant in the class. Her favourite muscle groups to work with are the core and glutes.
Annie places a strong emphasis on correct form - when movements are performed with clear, supported technique, real progress and those little “aha” moments happen more often. Learning the foundations of Pilates is essential to slowly build toward more challenging and advanced movements.
The core principles of BOND PILATES come from Annie's beliefs that a strong body creates a strong mind, and she is a big advocate that any movement is good movement.
Outside the studio, you’ll likely find her traveling the world with her family, soaking up new cultures and cuisines, sharing an almond latte with a bestie, or catching a live music show or concert.
